3. Managing Sort Rules

Create rules defining under what conditions a package is to be sorted. Select a rule type from the drop down list, which will then show instructions along with the appropriate fields and drop down boxes. Examples of rules include package weight within spec either from a value obtained from your database for that package or else one you have entered in the rule, sort by text match (such as a zip code, country, or special code), check for dimensions within spec, and many more. Once created the rules appear in the list of available rules when editing a sort device. Simply drag and drop the rule to the list of rules which apply for that sort device.
